Here’s the newest and last (For at least for a while) addition to my stable.

What would possess a couple of guys to spend the day driving to and from New Jersey battling the nasty weather all day long? How about a great deal on a single speed!
Pete is probaly the only person I could have talked into this impromptu road trip. Actually being even crazier than myslelf and in being from Colorado made this a pretty easy sell. Pete was kind enough to take the day off with me and battle the weather and a legion of crazy drivers including several Semi’s and at least one crazed mini van driver who were all intent on running us off the road at various points along the way.
Hours in the car, rest stop food and a kick ass new single speed. What could be better? I’ll try and put some more details here later.
Anyone have a lead on a good deal on a nice ss wheelset in Florida
This cold weather sucks.

it’s not so much the number of bikes… it’s the pace of acquisition if you keep going at this rate you’re going to need to build an extension to your house to store your bikes… not that i’m the best person to talk
I gotta agree with Joe — I mean really this is the 3rd new ride in what? — 2 weeks? That’s excessive by any standard – damn I’m jealous!!!!!!!
[...] First off, the way in which I acquired it to begin with is a great story and brings back some fun memories. My buddy Pete found the bike on MTBR and to make a long story short we ended up taking an impromptu road trip to NJ to pick her up. To make it really interesting it decided to snow the weekend of our trip which REALLY made it fun. In addition to the origins of the bike itself a few of the parts have cool histories. The Fox fork that is currently on my bike came off Pete’s Truth before he offloaded it. So me picking it up for my SS was kinda like keeping it in the family. That fork has been to Fruita more times than I have Speaking of Fruita that’s were the headset cap came from. I also took the bike on what has been my hands down favorite trip out to Fruita so far. Last but not least was the 05 SSWC that I attened on this bike. In fact it was really the whole reason I bought the bike in the first place. [...]
