Getting back on schedule

Feels like I’m finally getting back into a routine and starting to get myself back into shape. Did three back to back after work rides this week around Patapsco. This is the most weekdays I’ve been able to ride for the past several months. It’s nice to finally be building some momentum. I’m also slowly but surely starting to feel better on the bike as well. I’m eating better as well so with the extra riding I should be able to shed the extra pounds I picked up from slacking.

Yesterday Phil came out and rode with us for the first time in months. It was good to see him back out on the trail. He did remarkably well for as little riding as he’s been doing. We set a casual pace and just spun aorund throwing in some extra climbs when we could. Yesterday for the first time in a while I went back down and reclimbed a hill for seconds and then thirds. I’m starting to feel like my old self again which means I’m enjoying the climbs again.

I also figured out how to start geo tagging my photos with the data from my Garmin. With a couple pieces of software I’ve pair my photos with the track logs and geocode them. If you view the most recent ride photos on flickr you’ll notice the options to view them on a map. I really like this system for tagging my ride photos.

Planning to ride Sat & Sun even though it’s going to require some earlier start times than I would like. Hopefully the weather holds out and I can continue this roll I’m on.

Here is the GPS data from yesterday and here are the rest of the photos.
