Having been lacking a bike project I started looking around for something to tinker with. By chance I happened to remember this frame we’ve had at the shop for quit some time. I looked at the geometry on the niner site and found it would fit me quit well. I got the frame and fork for an absolute steal of a deal. This is going to be my bike project for the next few months. I plan to have it up and running in time for winter riding. I may make this my Wakefield bike this year..
I’ll take lots of photos and update on the progress. I’ve never been over eager to try a 29r but now that this baby has pretty much fallen in to my lap I have to admit I’m kinda excited. The first order of business is to build some proper 29r wheels.
I’m thinking kings laced up with DT Competition spokes, just not sure what hoops to use yet. If any one has any suggestions let me know!
